How could anyone resist the big eyes of Puss-in-Boots ( Antonio Banderas ) in DreamWorks Pictures? Shrek 2

Shrek The Third

Plot:  When his new father-in-law, King Harold falls ill, Shrek is looked at as the heir to the land of Far, Far Away. Not one to give up his beloved swamp, Shrek recruits his friends Donkey and Puss-N-Boots to install the rebellious Artie as the new king. Princess Fiona, however, rallies a band of royal girlfriends to fend off a coup d'etat by the jilted Prince Charming.

Good:  Shrek The Third was much better than what I was expecting. It was more consistently funny the Shrek 2.  The animation, humor and added adorable and charming characters were great as always. My favorite part of the movie is when the gingerbread man cracks under pressure and starts singing “Goodship Lollypop.” That was the most hilarious thing I have ever seen, I could not stop laughing. It still makes me laugh just thinking about it. Puss-N-Boots always steels the movie; he is just such a lovable character.

Bad: I felt as though some of the storylines with the other characters were not finished yet.

Overall:  The movie was fantastic. I laughed throughout the entire movie. It has the most lovable characters, and some of the funniest jokes. However, I think it should end with this one. Any more would ruin the charm of this great trilogy.
